Qaida Noorania 2.4

COBWEB Design Studio presents 'Qaida Noorania', an app designed for beginners to learn the proper recitation of the Holy Quran.

Traditionally, learning to recite and understand the Quran required supervision from religious scholars. However, due to logistical challenges and geographical constraints, this practice has now become limited to parents teaching their children or relying on paper versions of Qaidas. Unfortunately, both these methods lack the guided audio talafuz/tajweed.

To address this gap, 'Qaida Noorania' has been developed. Leveraging the portability, multimedia capabilities, and widespread acceptance of the iPad, this app aims to provide a comprehensive solution for learning Quranic recitation.

The features of the Qaida Noorania application include:

• Bilingual recitation in Urdu/Arabic (zabar, zeer, pesh/fatheh, kasra, dumah)
• 17 indexed lessons (basic to advanced)
• 1078 text buttons (individual letters to aggregated words)
• Bookmarking individual buttons
• Flick and pinch gestures for easy navigation
• Tongue visuals for alphabets in Lesson 1
• Practice mode for Lesson 1
• Help screens for additional support
